I offer individual therapy for ages 18 and up.  I also offer Brainspotting Consultation for clinicians working toward their Certification in Brainspotting.

In my integrative therapy practice I work with the whole person, not just a symptom.  I combine various modalities such as Brainspotting, Gentle Reprocessing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping), Ego State Therapy, Mindfulness, and CBT to support change and healing in a non-judgemental, safe and respectful atmosphere.  I offer support and guidance helping you to discover the root of what is causing you pain and bring you a greater sense of resilience and peace.

Brainspotting Therapy

Brainspotting is an approach to healing and wellness that is deeply rooted in the body's nervous system.  Brainspotting is a brain-body based relational therapy.   It is quite different from traditional talk therapy as it helps your brain and body move toward physical and psychological homeostasis.  It is hypothesized that Brainspotting works in the deep brain in a way that talk therapy does not.  It is a relational therapy that uses the therapists attuned presence to support the client's body's innate wisdom to heal themselves.  Brainspotting can help all people heal from experiences included but not limited to PTSD, abuse, anxiety, depression, car accidents, pain, traumatic brain injury and addiction. Brainspotting is also used to enhance creativity and to improve sports performance.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

(EFT) is a somatic treatment method that offers healing from physical and emotional pain and disease. Without the use of needles, this form of acupuncture uses the fingertips to stimulate energy points on the body.

EFT works by tapping on acupressure meridians to release blockages. When these blockages are released, the problem feeling can be released and move through the body.   EFT is a very effective way of clearing out feelings, and when an unwanted feeling is gone, the limiting beliefs that the client held are released. New, more positive beliefs about themselves can emerge. Learning EFT also empowers the client to take charge of handling their emotional state because they can tap on a feeling any time they want to move out a painful feeling. Whether EFT is performed by a therapist or self-applied, over 80% of people achieve either noticeable improvement or complete cessation of the problem.
